Last week, just in time for Australia Day 2019 Boutique Bar Brands announced the launch of Manly Spirits in the UK with an evening of spirits tastings, cocktails and a giant inflatable Clown Fish!
After many months of planning and patiently waiting for bottles to make their way to the UK from ‘down under’ we were delighted to welcome over 50 members of the drinks trade and media to the Merchant House of Bow Lane, City of London.
Heralded by Master of Malt as ‘one of Australia’s most exciting new distilleries’ we welcomed Manly Spirits founders David and Vanessa Whittaker as well as Head Distiller Tim Stone to London for a packed week of celebrations including Manly Spirits takeovers at The Domino (Leeds), Nine Lives, Bermondsey and we were even invited to the Australian High Commission for their annual Australia Day Reception.
