When Laurent Lacassagne and Patrick Venning (previously CEO and marketing director of Chivas Brothers) created the Brixton Distillery Company, they wanted to support and share everything they love about Brixton.
So their inaugural release, Market Row Botanical Rum, captures its essence. Market Row is a celebration of Afro Caribbean flavours and what better place to launch the brand than in the centre of Brixton? It’s a rum with a Brixton twist distilled in the rafters above Market Row.
And it’s a community project. It’s Brixton people coming together to support, inspire and create. The distillery’s suppliers are locals. The botanicals are sourced locally. The employees are local.
It’s a love letter to Brixton and its thriving community, celebrating as well as giving back to it.
