Made from mature Espadin (Agave Angustifolia), cooked in a conical earth oven with mesquite wood for 4 days then milled with a volcanic Tahona before being distilled in smal 250l copper pot stills. This is a Joven (un-aged) Mezcal, bottled in small batches at source.
AROMA
Roasted agave, hints of black fruit and raisin leading to an alluring backdrop of smoke, earthiness and burnt sugar.
TASTE
Lovely, weighty mouthfeel with an enticing mix of agave, smoke and herbaceous notes.
FINISH
Lingering finish of dried fruits, wood spice and butterscotch.
